Four Must-Dos to Keep Teeth and Gums Healthy

Followed with general four steps for caring teeth and gums:
1. Brushing
Tips for Brushing
Brush 2 times a day at least, after every mean if it allows. Brushing gets rid of plaque, a layer of bacteria that clings to teeth. They generate acids when in touch with food and lead to cavities.
How to brush:
• Set the head of the toothbrush with a pea-sized dad of fluoride toothpaste.(Soft toothbrush is considered and electric toothbrush make your brushing much easier)
• Set the toothbrush against the teeth with a 45-degree angle to the gum line.
• Brush the teeth with a small circular movement and clean one tooth each time. With the tips of the bristles against the gum line, but make sure you are gentle enough that bristles move flat against the teeth. Let the bristles reach into spaces between teeth.
• Chewing surfaces of teeth can not be left too, every teeth top must be brushed and guarantee the bristles reach into the groves and crevices.
• Brush the backside of the upper and lower teeth with same small circular movement—which face to the tongue.
• To clean the inside of the bottom front teeth, angle the head in an up-and-down position toward the bottom inside of the mouth and move the toothbrush in a small circle.
• For the inside of the top front teeth, angle the brush in an up-and-down position with the tip of the head pointing towards the roof of the mouth. Move the toothbrush in a small circle.
• Genteelly give your tongue a few brush strokes, clean it from the back to front. Don’t scrub. This motion not only helps to remove bacteria but also fresh your mouth.
• Then rinse your mouth with water after two to three minutes teeth-brush.
• Make sure replace your toothbrush with a new one every 3-4 months.

2. Flossing
Tips for Flossing
One action needed to floss a day, it removes the food and plaque among the teeth, the place your toothbrush can not get into. Plaque can harden into tartar if not flossed, and you have to turn up to a dentist to remove.
How to floss:
• First take out an 18-inch strip of floss from the dispenser.
• Twist the floss around the middle fingers of each hand, make sure leave 1-inch space for flossing. Begin with upper teeth, then the lower ones.
• Set the floss in your month and push it between the teeth by your index fingers. Make sure you are gentle enough not to injure the gums.
• Keep the floss motion up and down against the tooth and up and around the gum line. The floss perform should be a C-shape around the tooth.
• Floss between each tooth as well as behind the back teeth.
• Prepare a new stripe of floss as needed to replace the used one by twisting it around the fingers.

3. Eating properly
Tips for Eating properly
Eat all kinds of foods but not too much foods which contain sugars and starches. Most acids in the month are produced by these foods, the damage to the teeth grows with the time they stay. Hard "sucking candies" are especially into consideration, as they stay in the month much longer, it is more dangerous.
Snacking on sugary foods can lead to tooth decay because most people don't brush after snacks. Starchy snack foods, like potato chips, stick to the teeth. Avoid snacking on:
• Candies, cookies, cakes and pies
• Sugary gum
• Crackers, breadsticks and chips
• Dried fruits and raisins

4. Checking-up the dentist
Visiting the dentist
Check up with your dentist at least once a half year. To keep healthy teeth and gums, it's important to have regular check-ups and professional cleanings. Check up the dentist as you get teeth or month pain or bleeding, swollen gums.
You may also consult with your dentist about dental sealants and more dental instrument. Sealant protects chewing surfaces of the teeth by coating the top. This coating avoids the teeth from decay and generally lasts a long time.
